Extrema Ratio is now giving you a third choice for a back-up knife and an EDC. The Col Moschin Compact. You can now chose between the Shrapnel OG, the Fulcrum C, and the Col Moschin Compact.
The Col Moschin Compact has the distinguishing features, quality, and the Italian styling that is inherent in the full-sized Col Moschin. It comes in a version without the blade serrations and is single edged. Its compact size gives you the option of a discreet carry. It has a shorter handle common to back-up knives (making it easier to conceal) so if you have large hands you might not find it a comfortable fit. It is on par with the Shrapnel OG and the Fulcrum C as far as length and weight. A strong blade.
Plus it comes with a fitted back-up knife sheath. This sheath has an Extrema Ratio belt clip that allows for adjustable carry positions. The belt clip can be adjusted at various heights on the hard sheath, plus you can configure it so that it sits at various angles. This gives you more options. You can position your knife for a discreet carry that works best for you. The sheath has an automatic pressure point that holds the knife securely.
The Col Moschin Compact has a hardened tang to break glass and a lanyard hole. Holds an edge well and has a coating that is very protective against corrosion and oxidation. Plus it is non-reflective. A military style knife that serves you as both a back-up knife and an EDC. Great additional too to your bug-out bag. Valuable to have handy for difficult situations.
