If you like the look of the Kobold but are wanting something a little larger and more capable, the Raja from Indonesian knife designer Sebastian Irawan is the knife for you. Like its smaller brother, it has incredibly smooth action, a comfortable handle, and a unique aesthetic, but comes in at nearly nine-inches overall. The thumb slot is very difficult nigh impossible to use with the thumb but perfectly fine for middle finger flicking, though, let's be honest, this guy is a born and bred flipper. We love how the knife puts the cutting edge below your hand when you grip it - makes for easier and more effective cutting with less effort and something about the look is also quite nice. The Raja comes complete with a sculpted titanium pocket clip, titanium backpacker with integral lanyard loop, and replaceable lockbar insert/overtravel arrestor. It's a large knife with a slender profile that will carry easily and we see it becoming a dependable part of your EDC rotation in no time.
