The Shinra Folder Series is inspired by traditional Japanese design elements and embodies Mcusta's passion for precision craftsmanship and custom quality production. The Japanese concept of Shinra has the meaning of "Nature," "The Universe," or "All Creations." Skilled craftsmanship brings these artistic Japanese design elements to life in this stunning series.

Mcusta does not use the conventional method of die stamping their blades like most mass-produced knives. Components are laser cut and C&C machined to assure the best possible precision fit. This is an important step in the production of a superior blade. Each knife is then hand assembled and hand finished and inspected by Mcusta's team of craftsmen. This process creates a superior knife at a reasonable price.

Made in Seki, Japan, Mcusta combines modern technology with traditional Japanese craftsmanship to produce hand finished custom quality production knives. This knife features a 2.75" San Mai SPG2 powder steel blade, Damascus bolsters, and black pakkawood handles with reversible tip-up carry pocket clip for right or left hand carry. SPG2 is a Japanese powder metallurgy steel that is tougher and has better resistance to corrosion than S30V and its edge retention is comparable to S35VN.
