The Shrapnels have an eye-catching leaf shaped blade. The handle has a "good feel" to it but is shorter to allow you a more discreet carry. This Shrapnel has the Desert Warfare finish. Extrema Ratio guarantees this finish to be a durable as their black coating. The blade is black with the addition of laser engravings making a geometric design. The sheath is also Desert Warfare.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* The blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel; a high performance steel with excellent cutting and sharpening characteristics.
** The Forprene handle is resistant to extreme temperatures and moisture. It can be disassembled for easier cleaning or to transform the knife into a lance point.
*** It has a new sheath design with a clip that allows for adjustable carry positions. The sheath has an automatic pressure point that holds the knife securely.
NOTE: The Shrapnel has a tightly fitted sheath. Extrema Ratio has followed the Italian military instructions in manufacturing the sheath. The military wanted a tight retention system so the knife was difficult to remove from the sheath for safety reasons.
