Serge Panchenko already has a large fan base thanks to his Lancer. The Boker Plus Gust is much sturdier and more practical, designed as a stainless steel frame lock. The thick handle scales with their typical milled pattern and copper front scale convey a feeling of comforting solidity. The blade of the Gust is made from rugged D2 and moves on ball bearings. The blade and back scale has a stonewash finish, giving it an appealing vintage look. Includes pocket clip (tip-up, right carry).

D2 Tool Steel
With a chromium content of 12%, D2 – a tool steel – can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offers great edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
