We Knife Co Big Banter Linerlock Green Canvas Micarta WE210452

Designed by Ben Peterson, formerly of the Headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah, the Banter took the industry by storm. Named for the video series that he helped pioneer during his time there, even years after he's been gone the quality he brought to their videos remains. The Banter was his collaboration with We Knives drawing inspiration from other folding knives with the sole aim of being the perfect EDC piece. We think Ben succeeded and the knife was an impressive tool that hits a lot of marks right on the nose.
The Big Banter takes the beloved design and stretches it out nearly two full inches overall. The now 3.69" blade is housed in a sizeable handle so the overall length is just a hair over eight-and-a-third inches. The wide base is gone but you still have ample room to grip and a finger choil for more precise work. Its simple shape with Micarta and nested stainless steel liner construction remains and what it lacks in design aesthetics it more than makes up in terms of ergonomics and strength. It's comfortable, solid, and it just flat out gets any job done. Dual thumb studs allow multiple opening methods and the deep-carry pocket clip is now reversible for ambidextrous tip-up carry. The jimping on the thumb ramp is still ultra-functional and the lanyard hole remains large enough for 550-paracord. If the original Banter wasn't enough knife for you, check out the Big Banter, where bigger is definitely better.
